Rue Raymond Losserand, at one end of the block, has everything you need for dailiy life: butchers, grocers, bakers, fromagiste, as well as a Monoprix supermarket. In addition you will find a variety of restaurants and brasseries. Visit the local farmers market on Wednesdays and Sundays. At the other end of the block, rue Didot offers its own variety of shops and restaurants.

A short walk away is the scenic rue Daguerre, a classic pedestrian street of shops and eateries; the historic catacombs at the Place Denfert; and the beautiful cimitière Montparnasse, Just on the other side of this historic cemetery you'll find the famous brasseries of Montparnasse, playground of the lost generation of the 1920s and '30s, as well as the post-WWII artists and expats.
